Either he presses the close button, or makes a purchase. Some of them even offer a free e-book and offer their main product as an OTO, or an upsell. If you have a product that you would like to sell, then the best way to sell it is to put in on a minisite, there's no doubt about that. Or, put the free e-book with a few leaked chapters from the main product and sell it to them later on. But building a site like that can take a long time and a lot of work. Most people will give up before they ever get there. That's why its easier for most to stick with smaller sites that are easier to run and let the profits build up.
