A buddy of mine forwarded me the image below this morning and it gave me a little chuckle.   Some people just don’t get it…

    lol that’s pretty dam funny, If he actually thinks he can get the law on his side when he was using someone else’s content. Not very smart on his part if he was using someone else’s images via a direct hotlink.

    Now THAT is priceless. I had a site that was leeching some pictures of mine about 9 months ago…changed the pictures to ads (for my website) for the given leeched URL’s…haven’t checked if they are still up though, lol

    How ignorant can some people be ? Well, VERY!. Too bad he hasn’t used my site, I’d love to have a chat with his lawyer

    I had a site that was leeching some pictures of mine about 9 months ago…changed the pictures to ads (for my website)just do the promotional activities at its best.

    I sincerely hope that is a joke that was made up. I can’t imagine anyone being that stupid but people surprise me again and again.

    That e-mail is hilarious. Too bad we couldn’t also see his e-mail to his lawyer and his lawyer’s reply.

    I do like Leo’s idea. I should have done that in the past when I noticed my images on other sites.

    Wow, that is some letter! I would prefer to believe it’s made up, but you’re right Mike, never under estimate the sense of entitlement some people have. If you Google part of the email you can find out a bit more of the back story :)

    Hahaha he’s just so obnoxious. It feels like he’s entitled to your files and stealing your bandwith. You might like the article on cracked where, after some mexican site stole their content and hotlinked to their pictures, they changed all the pics to feature dongs in some form. It was hilarious.

    Speaking of stealing, someone (thewebdesignguyzdotcom) just hijacked my top commentator spot by commenting with my name. Grrr.
